In which you definitely cannot dispel the contribution on the resident rockstar Kevin Rudolph, who is readying his third his third full length-release. Thus far, the two anthems which have been released, Don’t Give Up and Champions have been tearing up the airwaves, featuring label mates Lil Wayne, Birdman, and Limp Bizkit has done to the level of anticipation. How’s that for calling in reinforcements? I think GREAT! The song has taken on a life of its own after admittedly beginning as an idea by label-head Birdman as a group effort. The song has been featured as the WWE Night of Champions theme song. As Kevin sat down with Rap-Up.com recently he hinted at a remix being in the works with Busta Rhymes and Mystikal slated to appear. Now thats something to look forward to. As goes the norm in the industry, his album has not received a release date as of yet.
Working with the likes of the individuals that he shares a label with has lead to the inclusion of heavyweights such as Rick Ross to Cobra Starship. On the top of his wish list going forward:
“I grew up listening to U2 and it would be a dream to collaborate with them…..It would be a dream to collaborate with someone like Sade, even though I know she never will. I would love to collaborate with Jay-Z.” (as told to Rap-UpTV)
Not too shabby on the wish list there, Kev. In due time, I’m sure something on that list will happen. For now all his fans will continue to “Let It Rock”
