The hard work, performance and showmanship of some of the brightest stars in Underground Hip Hop was celebrated on Sunday December 16th as Xtreme 104 FM hosted the 2012 All Star Hip Hop Awards @ the world renowned Lab in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn.

Amongst those in attendance were Desert Storm’s Don DeMarco, Oxygen Network Reality stars Kelly Linton, KC Cartel of Marie Driven PR as well as Charity Lynette of Curvy Chick Fitness, who were on hand to present awards.  The like’s of some of the Underground’s most notable artists such as   D Chamberz, Cortez, BX Problem, Streets Da God, D Dave, to name a few were in the building as well.

Blessing the crowd with their critically acclaimed performance sets were Yung H, Lex 9Eleven, Ox, Non Fiction, Fan-C, Move Nation and Pivot Music Group’s own Blanco the Celebrity, all of whom did their part in grand fashion representing the culture of Hip Hop and the best that the Underground has to offer. Headlining the event was the newly minted “Three The Hard Way” collective of New York Cornerstone artists Mic Geronimo, Mr. Cheeks, and Royal Flush whom performed some of their classic material such as “Renee” and “Itz Real” before giving glimpse to cuts from their forthcoming project slated for a 1st quarter release.

Nominees were awarded for categories such as Best Male R&B Artist, Overall Artist of the Year, Best Female Gospel, Male Artist of the year, as well as important media related categories such as Best Promo Team, Blog/ Website of the year, Director, DJ, and Producer of the Year.

Hosted by “Queen of the Underground” DJ Xxxotic Mami along with Knetwork Entertainment CEO Duce Da Privilege, with music provided by Jay Starr, and Platinum Producer/ DJ Music Mystro ticketholders were privileged to a night of great entertainment and decor unseen in the underground market; with their eye-sights on creating opportunity for the aspiring artist demographic which the underground market consists of, Xtreme 104 FM surely pulled out all the stops.
